Director of Finance
The Director of Finance is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds for the organization and overseeing all financial activity. This includes identifying potential funding sources, such as individual donors, corporations, and foundations, and developing relationships with these entities. This role also comprises the responsibilities of monitoring cash flows and allocations, ensuring that historical and future transactions are accurately accounted for. The Director of Finance also develops proposals and presentations to secure funding, and works closely with other members of the executive team to ensure that the organization's fundraising efforts align with its overall mission and goals. Additional responsibilities include: managing a team of no more than 5 people who support the Finance Team, organizing and coordinating department activities and fundraising efforts, and promoting an all-inclusive environment that supports TED's mission of ideas change everything. Note: This position is only open to undergraduate students enrolled at Northeastern University.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of other students

- Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure funding for the organization

- Aligning fundraising efforts with the organization's overall mission and goals
- Managing fundraising events
- Collaborating with other members of the leadership team to ensure that fundraising efforts are integrated with the organization's overall strategy
